I learn your normal power usage, and shows how you are doing at any time compared to your average. At your average power, I glow purple (50:50 red:blue). As your usage increases, I get redder and redder, and as it goes down I get bluer and bluer. Any time I am glowing blue you know you’re saving cash as you’re bringing your average down. Simple and visual enough that kids understand it and want to get involved, this visual feedback gives real motivation to keep using less and less and lets you feel good about it.

HOW DO I WORK?

I get my information from a transmitter attached to your electricity meter or fuse box. I measure the total amount of electricity being used in your home at any given time, and show this value on an easy-to-read display. I work with many countries’ electricity supply (230V/415V, single or 3 phase). I have flexible tariff structures to suit most pricing plans. I can also work with Holmes. Holmes is a simple piece of software which helps you track your energy use at home. This can be quickly downloaded from www.diykyoto.com

WATTSON 01 Software included with product to view chronological & real time data, connecting to DIY KYOTO community and hub (PC&MAC compatible).
