We were excited to see ourselves mentioned on RetroToGo – they liked the Paperpod Rocket’s “Space Age” appeal and featured it on their site! Browsing around their site, there are some rather fantastic things to admire – I loved the ClothKits and Minimoderns collaboration Ruby Photo Skirt Kit, for example, by two of my favourite designers. This takes a Minimoderns design using vintage photos and a skirt kit made by Clothkits: all you have to do is sew it up! I have to admit that I have a Clothkits Skirt kit sitting rather shamingly in its box as I am scared to start cutting and sewing it – it features a beautiful print by Rob Ryan, another of my favourite designers, and I don’t want to mess it up – but looking at this skirt, I’m thinking it’s time to get started.


Paperpod Recycled Fort and says it would be a great Christmas present. “Dare I say it? Oh why not, I started my preliminary Xmas list last night!!! Each year it gets longer and longer, so this morning when I should have been working I was actually sussing out a few pressie ideas…”. She recommends the Paperpod Toy Fort, made out of recycled (and recyclable) cardboard as a “great idea for a pressie”.
