Web survey and competition winner: and new Facebook Fan page competition!

Posted under Mimimyne eco friendly products news

Thanks so much everyone who took part in the Mimimyne web survey. It’s been a very useful exercise and so interesting to find out what my customers and visitors think about Mimimyne and how it could be improved!

I was happy to note that out of those of you who had shopped at Mimimyne, 71% were satisfied with their experience while the rest of you were evenly split between very satisfied and quite satisfied. Obviously, I want 100% of you to be very satisfied so I am going to look carefully at customer service and ways to make the Mimimyne experience even more user friendly.

In terms of website usability, you were very keen to be able to search easily by price (you can already do this using Advanced Search in the menu). You also want to have free delivery and customer reviews, so I am going to look into how to make these features available (it involves some web design tweaking, so it may take a while!). You also want more products, so I am going to be working on that! Eventually, I hope to be able to make all the features available that over 30% of you asked for.

Thank you so much for taking part, it’s been lovely to hear from you all and thanks especially to one survey respondent who said she enjoyed the blog and twitterings! And finally *drum roll* our T shirt winner is Ashleigh Allan from Fife. A “Mimi” T shirt is on its way to her tomorrow morning! If you would like to win a Mimimyne T shirt, I am now running a new competition for Facebook Fans of Mimimyne. Visit the
Mimimyne Facebook Fan Page and sign up to be a fan and you could become the proud owner of a T shirt for your son or daughter too!

The Book of Green Eco Living Directory 2009 has arrived!

Posted under Mimimyne eco friendly products news

I was excited today to get my box containing copies of the Book of green eco living directory to give away to Mimimyne customers. I am charging £1.50 to cover postage and packaging costs, but the directory itself is free! It’s printed on 100% recycled paper by a mill that uses environmental standards and an electronic version will also be downloadable for free at The Book of Green from the 1st July. The book of green is a collaboration between All things Eco and One Green Earth (both Ethical Junction members) and contains literally hundreds of green and eco friendly companies contact and business details (including Mimimyne of course!). You won’t need any other green reference books once you have this!
