I’m pleased to say I’ve just had an article about green events published in thegreenfamilia, the excellent green family products review site run by Brenda Cuby. It features interviews with Jodie Carnegie of the green consumer festival UK Aware and Andrew Williams of Seventeen (the green event planners) among others. Please visit thegreenfamilia, have a browse around and read the article!

Green Eyed Monster’s organic cotton T shirts are on Mimimyne!

Posted under Mimimyne eco friendly products news

I’m very excited to announce that the fab organic cotton and fairly traded T shirt, organic dress and organic denim childrenswear designs by Green Eyed Monster are now available on Mimimyne. Green Eyed Monster is run by Alexandra Tham and she answered a few questions for us:

What is Green Eyed Monster?

Premium organic and Fair Trade childrenswear for the discerning baby and child. Our clothes are design-led and fashion forward, what’s more they are all ethically produced and fair trade.

What is your background?

I worked in media branding before starting Green Eyed Monster, which I co-own. I run the company as a work from home business so I can spend more time with my family.

Apart from work and kids, what do you enjoy (when you have time)?
I love films and books – anything by Martin Amis!

Paperpod Rocket mentioned on RetroToGo

Posted under Mimimyne eco friendly products news

We were excited to see ourselves mentioned on RetroToGo – they liked the Paperpod Rocket’s “Space Age” appeal and featured it on their site! Browsing around their site, there are some rather fantastic things to admire – I loved the ClothKits and Minimoderns collaboration Ruby Photo Skirt Kit, for example, by two of my favourite designers. This takes a Minimoderns design using vintage photos and a skirt kit made by Clothkits: all you have to do is sew it up! I have to admit that I have a Clothkits Skirt kit sitting rather shamingly in its box as I am scared to start cutting and sewing it – it features a beautiful print by Rob Ryan, another of my favourite designers, and I don’t want to mess it up – but looking at this skirt, I’m thinking it’s time to get started.
