MummySaveMoney

MIMI MYNE
Mimi Myne sells  sustainably designed and produced eco friendly toys, organic kids clothes and modern, stylish children's furniture. Everything is chosen by Tabitha Potts, a mum of two who cares about the environment....

Babygadget

We've pretty much covered the trend for here on Babygadget, but here's an addition that's new to me: the so-called Splat chair.

Specially designed for kids who love to draw, it has niches for pens and pencils at the back, and a compartment below the seat for stashing away paper. This last would be welcome in our house, since those ever-increasing stacks of paper are a particular bugbear of mine...

The YokoBlog

Objectif Lune! (March 10th)

RetroToGo

(4th March 2009)

We love a retro rocket design and are always keen on environmentally-friendly design, so the PaperPod Rocket is surefire winner.

Made by PaperPod, it is constructed from recycled cardboard to form a rocket-shaped playhouse for children. The further beauty of cardboard is that it can be decorated too.

It costs just under £30 from Mimi Myne, although the handy amongst you may just take inspiration from it and make your own!

TreeHugger: Organic Products for the Fall

"Mimimyne (pronounced: Me Me Mine) has kids clothing, toys, furnishings, accessories and even carbon offsets for sale. Cardboard and Teepees from Paperpod and toys made from recycled cashmere and wool scraps can be found in the shop. The clothes are cute and made for kids but look like the could be found on the back of any indie guy or gal walking down the street, which is what Tabitha Potts, owner, was aiming for with her "environmentally aware modern design for children." You can also purchase carbon offsets through the website from Carbon Care to go with your purchase to offset the shipping."

The Accidental Ecomaniac

Mimimyne was featured by Miranda Newsom on her Favourite Find Page for Christmas 2008 on the excellent theaccidentalecomaniac Blog:

This month I'm loving ethical and eco-friendly pressies. Tough economic times mean most of us are cutting back this year, but you probably don't want to give up presents altogether and turn into Scroogey Grinch Pants. Instead treat your nearest and dearest  to guilt-free gifts:

For Chris, the proud pappa: Let the new Dad revel in his new role with this organic cotton matching T-shirt set, £30 from stylish new eco-friendly store Mimimyne...
